Nephetonhasaflexibleoutputconfiguration.Every
instrument'saudiosignalcanberoutedtoanyofthe
17outputs.Thisallowsuserstofurthershapesounds
individuallyoringroupsviatheirfavouriteplug
-ins.Eachindividualoutputcanbesettomonoor
stereo.Forthegreatest808fanswe'veaddedalso
originalTriggeroutput(configurableaswell).Every
instrumentalsohasaMute,SolobuttonandActivity
led.Mutewillnotjustsilencethesound,itwill
stopthesoundbeingtriggered.Solowillstopall
otherinstrumentsfrombeingtriggeredandonlyallow
theselectedsound(s)toplay.

Control

Nephetonhasextensivemidicontrol.Midinotescan
beusedtotriggereachindividualsound.
Alternatively,theinternalsequencercanbeused.
ThiscanbesettoplayusingNepheton'sinternal
clockorsettosynchronizeperfectlytothehost
sequencer.

MostofNepheton'sparameterscanbeautomatedwithin
thehostandalsocontrolledusingMidiCCwithan
externalcontroller.Aneasy-to-useMidiLearn
functionallowsreassignmentofanyofthe
parameters.

InternalSequencer

Internalsequencer'smemorycontainstwobanksof
patterns:simpleandextended.Thereis16extended
and96simplepatternswhichbothcanbeedited
traditionallyusingthestepbuttonsorusingthetap
function.

SimplepatternsareusedinHostModewhereeach
patternlocationhasamidinotenumberassignedto
it.Withthesenotesyoucancontrolfreelytheorder
ofplayedpatterns.

Extendedpatterndiffersfromthesimpleoneinit
has4segments(variationA/Bandpart1/2).The
wholebankof16extendedpatternsisdividedinto
twogroupsofBasicPatternsandIntro/FillIn
Patterns.Youcanchoosefreelyfromplayedpatterns,
usedvariations,andfillinmodes(triggered
automaticallyormanually).Italsocanbedefined
whetherthestartingpatternshouldbeprecededby
introductionpatternandmanymanymore.Extended
patternsareusedwhenHostModeisoff.

ARandomizerfunctionisalsoprovidedwithinthe
